New Year?

wow...I can't really remember the last time I've posted. Sorry for being so absent for a time po. :)

Anyhow, 2012 all the way the first months of 2013 had been a really busy buzz bee year!

I now work at an awesome branding firm as a designer (hurrah!) I'm so far having fun, but at the same time, It's a pressure cooker most of the time.

I've been literally stretched, squeezed, and fit into a tea pot, as Alice would put it.

I still draw from time to time, although I can't really put too much time as I used to.

For some of you who know me, years back I said I didn't want to work on a company.

Well, the thing is, I now think that working on a company is a pretty good deal.

Coz, for one, EXPERIENCE is a GREAT teacher.

For the past few months, I've learned how to work and collaborate with a team.

I've learned how to just fart out light moments in spite of really tense pressure on meeting deadlines. I've learned to endure hard times, understand bizzare worlds that I know nothing about (heck, I just want to draw!)

I've learned how to stay humble, learn, serve, and care for the people around you. The worse part is when you actually fail coz you know you're not just failing yourself but your team.

Right now, I'm learning so much that I probably wouldn't have learned just being freelance and working my own way. Working with other people and working on something bigger expands you, humbles you (coz you'll fail like, A LOT), challenges you, and makes you...well...if you strive, BETTER.

This is gonna be worth it.

Before, I'm an illustrator. Now, I'm an illustrator + designer.

I wonder what's next. :)
